Meet the Founder

Dusha Cecil is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience across school-based, crisis, hospital, and inpatient adolescent psychiatric settings. She earned her Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in social psychology.

Dusha specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, and life transitions. Her background in high-acuity environments has strengthened her ability to provide compassionate, consistent, and stabilization-focused care during challenging moments.

She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Complex Trauma and incorporates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), mindfulness, and play therapy to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs.

Dusha’s therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in helping youth and families build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, explore identity, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity.
